Senior Industrialization Engineer

Our Headquarters based in Trento (Italy), is currently looking for a:


SENIOR INDUSTRIALIZATION ENGINEER

Involved in the Development & Industrialization function, our Senior Industrialization Engineer analyzes and develops all the manufacturing processes and the related equipment linked to new or modified products, including new product launches, product modifications and capacity extensions.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Support the D&I department in the Design for Manufacturing and Assembly (DFMEA) process implementation
  • Collaborate and, when required, lead the definition and loading in SAP of BOM and cycles for new product launches and product modifications; lead product modifications as Case Owner or supporting Engineer. Participate and, when required, activate FMEA sessions for ongoing projects and product modification
  • Define the complete process flow diagrams, the layout according to the equipment specification and the process specification following the Group guidelines
  • Support the project costing activities (Materials, Labor, Amortization and Power)
  • Collaborate for the FAT validation and leads the SAT validation
  • RAMP UP plan arrangement, RAMP UP monitoring and efficiency improvements support, until the project handover
  • TSPR Test plan with the support of the Group and plant Quality functions. TSPR management, TSPR reports and TSPR issue log/action plan, until the closing. Lead TSPR validation.
  • Provide locally support on procedures and guidelines implementation mainly for global projects with multiple plants involved, assuring consistency across the sites
  • Lead the industrialization activities during the industrialization phase as part of the project team, defining the timing
  • On specific processes with implementations requiring unavailable local know-how, support the global equipment suppliers’ selection, negotiation and development
  • Coordinate the existing equipment assignment to new projects at Group level
  • The training of the teams involved in every project is a must for this role.

 Requirements:

  • Fluency in English is a prerequisite
  • University Degree in Engineering (Industrial, Mechanics, Mechatronics or similar)
  • 8/10 years of experience in the role, preferably in manufacturing Companies producing large volumes and with a good level of automation
  • CAD 2D, CAD 3D as a plus; Office Tools, including Microsoft Project
  • Continuous and discrete processes analysis and design
  • DFMA (Design for Manufacturing and Assembly) techniques
  • D/P FMEA (Design and Process Failure Mode and Effects Analysis) Techniques
  • Project Management

Role

Supporting our Global Account Division– Group Sales Function, the trainee will be involved in providing ongoing support to high value Clients and contributing to the implementation of business strategies, in order to achieve profitable business relationships and identify new revenue opportunities with major accounts.

 

Activities

  • Contribute to the realization of the sales objectives within the Key Account team, helping the KAM in achieving the defined strategic targets of service, turnover, first margin and DSO.
  • Support the Key Account Director in maintaining the relationships with the customers’ representatives and in the negotiation of customer contracts, in accordance with overall Group Sales strategy.
  • Support the sites in the SLEA discussion with the customers, ensuring that the service agreements are understood and followed by both the Group and the customers.
  • Check the consistency of standard costs versus agreements made with customers on components/materials prices and on conversion costs applied. Executes the PPV check and submission to the customer for the approval.
  • Support the Key Account Manager in preparing and sharing with customers the price list and the mini-project quotes in order to meet and/or exceed the first margin target indicated by the KAM.
  • Support the KAM in the budgeting process and the related reviews. Maintain the budget files following the KAM inputs with reference to prices.
  • Collaborate in new products’ development, as long as pricing – capex is concerned, ensuring that clients’ target price is fulfilled.
  • Support the KAM in the new Business Opinion (B.O.) process.

Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate the pilot runs of engineering and production with the departments involved, with proper communication skills.
  • Audit, approval and implementation of engineering and/or deviations internal and external changes.
  • Support on the problem solving of design and quality of the products.
  • Coordinate the establishment and standardization of criteria of quality of the products.

Our Production Supervisor supervises the control activities of the production process and guarantees a correct execution within the defined times and modalities in order to ensure the respect of production, quality and storage targets.

Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with the Shift Leaders to ensure the maximum efficacy of the production activities and the respect of the product evasion times; responsible for night shifts.
  • Assure the right sequence of evasion for production orders, organizing and making them available for the Shift Leaders, and guarantees a correct data of schedule adherence, in collaboration with the Planning department.
  • Contribute to the completion or modification of the production product sheets, in collaboration with the Engineering department and the Production Analyst.

  • Advise the Planning department in case of inconsistences between the planned data and the actual production capacities, and propose modifications of programs or sequences, with the aim of optimizing the customer service and rationalizing the corporate costs.
  • Collaborate with the warehouse in the activities of rotary material inventory
  • Ensuring safe work conditions for the personnel and for verifying the observance of the safety legislation and the relative Group rules and the use of the required PPE

Requirements:

  •  2 + years of operative experience in in the production process, preferably in a global manufacturing company operating in the FMCG industry.
